Who do I want to become known as—and how can I embody a piece of that identity this week?
This is the final prompt in my Prompt to Impact series, part of Phase 4 of my coaching framework:
Leading to Your Legacy.
Legacy isn’t only about what we leave behind.
It’s also about how we show up in the everyday moments that shape how we’re remembered.
This photo was taken nearly 29 years ago.
My mum travelled alone by train across the country—something that was a real challenge for her—so that I wouldn’t be alone when my daughter was born.
It was an act of love, courage, and presence.
And it created a bond between them that became incredibly special.
She didn’t make a big speech. She just showed up.
That’s what this week’s prompt invites us to do:
🌀 Who do I want to become known as—and how can I embody a piece of that identity this week?
Whether it’s kindness, strength, wisdom, humour, or encouragement—your legacy begins not in grand gestures, but in intentional acts that say: This is who I am choosing to be.
🧠 And remember—your brain is always listening.
The Reticular Activating System (RAS) helps us notice what we’re primed to see. When we hold a clear image of the person we’re becoming, we begin to act in alignment with that identity.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring this further—how prompts, attention, and intention shape who we become.
✨ For now, I invite you to ask:
What would one small act of that legacy look like today?
Because how we live now… is how we will be remembered.
