I regularly listen to Dr Rangan Chatterjee’s podcast Feel Better, Live More and have drawn on many of the ideas shared by him and his guests—not only in my own life, but also in the way I think about confidence, energy, resilience and sustainable change within my coaching.
So, when I learned about Do Health, which he co-founded, I was curious to experience the approach for myself.
I became a subscriber, completed my first blood test and have started using the app to understand more about my health and the small actions I can take across four connected areas:
🥗 Eat
🚶♀️ Move
😴 Sleep
🌿 Relax
On Friday, that journey took an unexpected turn when I visited the Do Health offices to be filmed talking about my experience so far. 🎥
Being surrounded by cameras was certainly outside my usual routine—but saying yes felt important.
What interests me most is not simply receiving more health information. It is the attempt to turn that information into a clear and manageable next step, personalised around someone’s biology and lifestyle. (dohealth.co)
That principle reaches far beyond health.
We can listen to podcasts, read books, attend courses and collect insights—but knowledge only begins to change our lives when we do something with it.
Sometimes progress begins with one simple question:
What is the next useful action I can take with what I now know?
For me, this experience is another reminder that our health supports everything else we want to do—our work, relationships, confidence, contribution and future.
Do you usually act on ideas you hear in podcasts, or do they sometimes remain in your headphones?
All the best
Julie
